Benidorm is the best-known resort on the Costa Blanca, with a high-rise skyline and two long beaches, Levante and Poniente, split by a small old town on a rocky headland. Theme parks, a large choice of hotels and easy transport make a beach holiday simple to plan, and mountain villages like Guadalest are a short drive inland.
